Positively speaking

Some people have a way of lifting people's spirit. We love to be around people like that. But what about the power we have to determine our own situations. It is said that we, ourselves, are our own worst enemy. How do you think positively? What do you do when you're down and out?

"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty."

-Winston Churchill

I try to follow the three C's

Commitment, Control & Challenge.

Commitment
I try to make a positive commitment to myself, work, family, friends, and other worthwhile causes. I try and dream of success and try and stay enthusiastic.

Control
I try to focus on the important things. Setting goals and priorities for what I do. I also try to develop a strategy for dealing with problems. Learning to relax is the hardest part besides being honest with myself.

Challenge
I try to improve each day. Do my best without looking back. I love trying new things. Ask lots of questions and be optimistic.
